Longford RFC is one of the most progressive rugby clubs in Ireland.  This is reflected in our excellent facilities and constant renewal and addition to these facilities.  3 pitches all floodlight, 1 state of the art synthetic and 2 grass, a fully fitted gym, 10+ dressing rooms, one of the best clubhouses, bar and function rooms in the country.

Playing Facilities

Longford RFC have a brand new state of the art all weather 4G pitch.  The pitch is one of the best in Ireland and is fully fenced and floodlight.  Not only is it a brilliant pitch which allows year round playing of rugby, it is also suitable for soccer, gaelic football and other sports.  It is available for rental by contacting Gerry Larkin; M: 0868195519 E: gglarkin31@gmail.com.

Along with our synthetic pitch we also have two all weather grass pitches, which also have full lighting.  The main pitch has recently upgraded match standard floodlights and a covered stand, along with full fencing and covered subs benches and an electronic score board.

Longford RFC also have a Strength and Conditioning Centre for players opened in the memory of former Club Captain, Derek Belton and five men’s dressing rooms, along with a Physio treatment room and separate Referees and Woman’s Changing Rooms.
