Longford Ladies head into two top of the table clashes

Having had the weekend off the Warriors face into two tough weeks of
rugby, playing the two teams above them in the league. First up is the
long trip to Wexford to take on table toppers Gorey this Sunday.
Followed by a trip to Barnhall who are second in the table.Gorey have been top of the table from the start and having suffered their first defeat to Barnhall last time out they will be determined to get back to winning ways. So this makes Longfords task even harder. However, they have been working hard in training and with the influx for some new players in the last few weeks they are now developing into a really strong squad. Having won four games in a row confidence is high and they will be looking to put in a big performance against Gorey. If they can manage to get a result this weekend followed by another win the following week they could find themselves top of the table by Christmas. But there is a lot of rugby to be played before that and the Warriors are fully focused on the Gorey match.
Training continues every Tuesday and Friday at 7:30. Why not come along and give it a try.
