Longford travel to Suttonians in crucial league game this Sunday   15/02/2018

After last Sundays dissappointment in the Provincial Towns Cup both Longford Men's XV's face into their last three matches still in the hunt for league honours. Both teams travel to face Suttonians this weekend.  It is an especially crucial match for the Performance XV.  They lie third at present six points behind leaders Suttonians. Longford really have nothing to lose at this stage of the season as the worst they can finish is solidly mid-table.  After the Suttonians game, they have one last away game v Portlaoise followed by rounding off their league campaign v Tullow at home in CPL Park.  A strong finish to the season would definitely result in the Performance XV being in the mix for the top come league end.

Longford Development XV find theirselves in the same position of third but nine points off the top.  However, with the leaders Tullow, at home in the last match, a strong final series of results could still leave them in the shakeup for league honours.

As always we request as much traveling support as possible to our final two away league games, as both men's team try to finish the season out with a bang.
