How do you start the rugby season with a bang? Well, Longford Rugby club do it by welcoming Leinster, Ireland and B&I Lions superstar Sean O’Brien and a couple of his Leinster colleagues to CPL Park this Saturday 16^th September.

This is the prize won by Eileen McCormack, mother of Longford player Ronan McCormack when she entered a competition run by Leinster Rugby’s sponsor, Deep RiverRock.

The Deep RiverRock team are organizing fun events including inflatable goal posts so come along and test your drop goal and penalty kick skills.

The fun begins at 12.00 and there will be an opportunity for everyone to get photos and autographs.

Longford Rugby Club youths will also hold their registration day at the same time so current and new players can register for the season ahead. Just go into the clubhouse and one of the volunteers will help you out.
